Neuro-Experiential Learning & Counseling

Imagine a life where the voice that guides you is the voice of who you truly are. That you trust your sense of knowing and insight to guide you with focus and clarity. Your heart, body, and mind are completely in coherence.

We are passionate about supporting your journey to coherence, empowerment, joy, hope and fulfillment. Our methods focus on an experiential, somatic, connection-based, holistic lens.
Through calming the nervous system, regulating emotions and energy, and ultimately on finding moments of joy, lightness and hope, we work together to help you move forward differently. Our therapeutic approach is interactive and collaborative, utilizing the natural living world and your connection to it as a guide towards therapeutic wisdom.

Each session focuses on finding and feeling safe in our bodies and the world around us, accessing inner calm, actively releasing tension and stress, and accessing your own intuition and sense of knowing. Ultimately awarding you the focus and clarity to move forward.

Our clients report feeling empowered as individuals while also learning to support, collaborate, and find strength in the connection they have with loved ones, peers, and their communities.

Heart Song Creative Counseling

A collaborative approach

Equine therapy incorporates a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, the horses and the clients as equal partners in an experiential process that empowers life-changing outcomes. The horses provide immediate, non-judgmental feedback through their behavior. Clients can see their emotional state reflected in the horse, allowing them to better understand and work through their feelings. This dynamic leads to amazing breakthroughs.

Equine therapy addresses issues such as self-esteem, addiction, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma.  Attention is placed on awareness, change, growth and healing. Through my personal observation, watching clients interact with the horses has resulted in a greater sense of empowerment, harmony, release of past trauma and healthier relationships with self and others.

Come and experience this amazing and effective process. It will change your outlook. Education and certification is through EAGALA, with additional training with Natural Lifemanship and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Wellness Programs

Our wellness programs offer supportive, horse-centered experiences focused on connection, personal well-being and meaningful time with horses. Activities may include grooming, groundwork, leading, observing herd behavior and quiet companionship. These programs are different from both Equine Therapy and our Kulshan Ridge Riding Academy. They do not provide mental-health counseling, diagnosis or clinical treatment. Instead, they offer welcoming opportunities to slow down, build confidence and enjoy the emotional and physical benefits of connecting with horses.

Equine Connections

Equine Connections is a horse-centered wellness program for adults age 50 and over who would enjoy having horses in their lives without the commitment of ownership, leasing or traditional riding lessons.

The program is offered with one of our established equine social groups:  Melian, Burberry and Eeyore. Participants spend scheduled time building meaningful relationships with this bonded group through grooming, leading, groundwork, horse care, observing herd behavior and quiet companionship.  Activities are adapted to each person's comfort, interests and abilities.  Equine Connections is a recreational wellness and horsemanship program, not mental-health therapy or counseling.  No previous horse experience is required.
